Beer, brats, Oompah music, and a whole lot of fun are on tap at the White Mountain Oktoberfest, October 7-8, 2017. Loon Mountain in Lincoln, New Hampshire is hosting the weekend event, which is free and for the entire family.
Sponsored by beer maker Samuel Adams, the two-day fest hits at prime foliage season—another great excuse to plan a stay at our B&B! Festivities kick off at 11:00 a.m. on Saturday with the Eastern Sound Orchestra playing polkas, waltzes, and other German favorites. Dancing is encouraged!
The band will perform on Sunday as well. Both days will include plenty of fun with water balloon launchings, stein hoisting competitions, keg-rolling relay races, and other lively activities. Kids can get in on the action with their own root beer keg toss, and the entire family can take part in pumpkin painting and relay sack races.
All that excitement making you thirsty? No worries, there will be plenty of beer and other beverages, plus plenty of great German food to go with it.
Loon Mountain is an ideal setting for an autumn festival, providing stunning vistas of New Hampshire’s White Mountains and a full-service lodge.
